While serving in Japan, my wife and I encountered a persistent ministry question: How could we engage Japanese people in ways that would help them understand who Jesus is and why His story matters to them?

I discovered the stories of Scripture provided a meaningful path.

The approach we took awakened interest, invited reflection, and helped people see how individual Bible accounts belong to one unfolding story centered on Jesus. That approach to meeting the need gave birth to the Gospel Story-arc® Project.

Today, our commitment to Japan continues. We want to encourage and equip missionaries, Japanese believers, church partners, and anyone with a heart for sharing Christ among Japanese people.

Here you will find Gospel resources, cultural insight, practical training, stories and testimonies from the field, and a special-interest newsletter devoted to ministry among Japanese people.

Together, we can help more people discover who Jesus is and why His story is their story too.

It’s Your Story Too!®

The Bible’s grand story centers on Jesus, and we are living inside that story today. His saving work gives us hope, His call gives our lives direction, and His promised kingdom gives us a future. As we trust and follow Him, His story shapes our own. We discover who we are, why we are here, and where history is going.

His story is your story too.
